Joan M. (Isanski) Shipe

Joan M. (Isanski) Shipe, 71, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at St. Luke’s Monroe Campus. She was the beloved wife of Robert C. Shipe, sharing over 48 years of loving marriage. Born in Fountain Springs on April 24, 1954 she was a daughter of the late Walter and Diotima (Heissler) Isanski.

Joan worked as a dedicated domestic engineer, caring for her home and family with love and devotion. She had a passion for the arts, being involved in ballet and becoming an accomplished pianist whose music brought joy to those around her. Joan was also a devoted animal lover and a generous supporter of animal charities. Above all, she will be remembered for her kind heart and the warmth she shared with everyone she met.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert C. Shipe. She was predeceased by her two brothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Foust Funeral Home, LLC. 841 W. Shamokin St. Trevorton, with a viewing from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Trevorton. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
